Requirements:

Master's candidate: has a bachelor's degree; HSK band 6 or above.
Doctoral candidate: has a master's degree; HSK band 6 or above.
Note: No need for HSK for attending courses which are not taught in Chinese.

Materials to be submitted:

  •A copy of completed Application Form for Jilin University International Students.
  •A copy of corresponding degree certificate, diploma, transcripts; copies should be notarized.
  •Two recommendations by professors
  •Copy of passport
  •Band 6 or above certificate of HSK examination
  •A copy of completed Physical Examination Record Form

Application time: March 1st May 30th.

Application fee: RMB 400 Yuan

Enrollment time: August 25th September 1st or as stated in the admission notice issued by Jilin University.

Length of the program : 3 years

Tuition:
   Master degree: Humanities, Literature and Arts: RMB 19000 Yuan per year; Science, Engineering: RMB 24000 Yuan per year; Medical: RMB 29000 Yuan per year.
   Doctoral degree: Humanities, Literature and Arts: RMB 23000 Yuan per year; Science, Engineering: RMB 29000 Yuan per year; Medical: RMB 33000 Yuan per year.

Curriculum:
Courses of Politics and Foreign Language are exempted; Introduction to China and Modern Chinese Language is required;
- Others courses are taken as the same as Chinese students.
- The student who has completed the curriculum, passed the examinations and successfully defended the dissertation will be issued a diploma and conferred with Master/Doctoral degree.
