The formation ceremony for the Chinese university sports delegation of the 32nd FISU World University Games Summer was held in Beijing on July 8. The event will be held in Germany from July 16 to 27, with a participation of 8,500 athletes and officials from 150 countries and regions.

QIU Peng, Dean of the College of Physical Education at Jilin University (JLU), has been appointed as the head of the badminton delegation for the Chinese university sports team for the second time. MA Rui, a student of the College of Physical Education at JLU, has once again been selected for the Chinese athletics events team.

They will depart for Germany with 200 faculty members and students from 81 institutions in 26 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities. Their participation is not only a personal honor but also a demonstration of the achievements in physical education at JLU.
