On October 12th, the 2025 Formula Student Combustion China, guided by the China Association for Science and Technology and jointly hosted by the China Society of Automotive Engineers and the Zhengzhou Municipal People's Government, successfully concluded at the Henan Province Intelligent and Connected Vehicle Test Base. The event saw participation from nearly 60 domestic university teams as well as multiple teams from countries including Russia and Bangladesh.

After five days of intense competition, the Jilin University Gspeed Formula Team successfully defended its national championship. The team achieved first place in Vehicle Design, Business Plan, Acceleration, and Endurance; second place in High-Speed Avoidance; third place in Skid Pad; fourth place in Cost and Manufacturing Analysis. Additionally, the Gspeed Team was awarded the competition's Leading Team Award, and the team's faculty advisor, Jin Zhaohui, was recognized as Outstanding Faculty Advisor.

For this competition, our university's Gspeed Formula Team competed with a all-new hybrid racing car, the "Gspeed Future Vector." The new car incorporates multiple innovative technologies independently developed by our students, including rear-wheel active steering, electric power steering, and dynamic damping control. The name "Gspeed Future Vector" not only summarizes the concept of chassis vectoring control but also symbolizes the team's unwavering determination and steadfast belief in pursuing truth and innovation.

The Formula Student Combustion China Conference launched in 2010 by the China Society of Automotive Engineers has been held annually for sixteen consecutive years. What began as a single event has grown into a series encompassing the Formula Student Competition China, Formula Student Electric China, and Formula Student Autonomous China. Over the years, students have independently designed and built more than 2,000 racing cars, competed in nearly 70 international competitions, and earned over 50 international awards. Jilin University's Gspeed Formula Team has participated in all sixteen editions, securing the overall championship seven times, including an impressive streak of six consecutive titles in the most recent years.
