Professor YU Xihe attends IHEA 2025 World Congress

Professor YU Xihe from the School of Public Health at Jilin University, along with his doctoral students XU Yan and GAO Shang, was invited to the 16th World Congress of the International Health Economics Association (IHEA) in Bali, Indonesia from July 19 to 23, engaging in academic exchanges and presenting research outcomes.​​​

Organized by the IHEA, the biennial congress attracted scholars, policymakers, and industry experts in the field of health economics from over 100 countries and regions worldwide this year, and focused on seven major topics including “evaluation, distribution, and economic effect of health”, “financing and expenditure of health services”, and “economic evaluation of health and related nursing interventions”.

During the conference, Professor YU Xihe engaged in in-depth academic exchanges with scholars and experts from different universities and research institutions across Europe, North America, and Asia.

The dialogues attracted extensive attention from attending scholars, while preliminary agreements were reached regarding potential international collaboration projects in the future.

The participation of Professor YU Xihe and his students demonstrated the research strength and academic achievements of Jilin University in the field of global health economics, and provided a valuable platform for faculty and students to broaden international perspectives and enhance scientific research capabilities.
