IEEE 3M-NANO 2025 takes place in Changchun

The 14th IEEE International Conference on Manipulation, Manufacturing, and Measurement on the Nanoscale (IEEE 3M-NANO 2025) was held in Changchun from July 29 to 31, jointly hosted by Jilin University, the International Research Center for Nano Handling and Manufacturing of China, Changchun University of Science and Technology, and other institutions.

The conference aimed to facilitate in-depth discussions on cutting-edge breakthroughs, share innovative ideas, and lead advancements in science and technology, with a focus on core topics in manipulation, manufacturing, and measurement on the nanoscale, attracting nearly 300 leading experts and scholars in nanotechnology from around the world to Changchun.

The opening ceremony was attended by the conference’s founding chairs, Professor YU Huadong of Jilin University, and Professor WANG Zuobin of Changchun University of Science and Technology, along with Dr. LI Meihua, Director of Office of Global Engagement at Jilin University. The ceremony was presided over by Prof. WU Wenzheng, Dean of the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Jilin University.

During the closing ceremony, WU Wenzheng delivered a vote of thanks, while WANG Zuobin provided a comprehensive summary of the conference.

Ten people were conferred awards at the conference, including three winners of IEEE 3M-NANO Award for Outstanding Academic Contribution, one of Best Application Paper Award, two of Best Conference Paper Award, and four of Best Student Paper Awards.

IEEE 3M-NANO 2025 is expected to further enrich the academic landscape of nanotechnology-related disciplines at Jilin University, promote interdisciplinary development, and enhance research capabilities and international collaboration.
