HAN Xiping, Vice Chairman of the University Council, Jilin University (JLU), attended the Chinese delegation for 2023 Pan-American International Education Conference & Expo from Nov 5 to 12, 2023.

Organized by the China Education Association for International Exchange, the delegation visited the United States and Japan, with 25 officials from 13 Chinese universities in attendance.

Drawing nearly 700 university educators from over 20 countries across the Americas, the 2023 Pan-American International Education Conference & Expo served as a melting pot of ideas on educational policies and experiences, with a resounding call for expanded cooperation.

During the event, Han discussed with representatives from esteemed institutions like Wayne State University and the University of California, Riverside, exchanging views on deepening cooperation across various disciplines.

The delegation visited the College of Southern Nevada, the University of Nevada in Las Vegas, the University of California in Los Angeles, and the California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, and Sophia University in Japan, reaching consensus on strengthening partnerships, joint talent cultivation, and international scientific cooperation.

During the visits, the delegation actively contributed insights on global educational challenges and expanded JLU's cooperation with universities in Latin America, improving JLU's international influence.
