The 2023 International Conference on the Cooperation and Integration of Industry, Education, Research and Application (Changchun) was held at Jilin University (JLU) on Sept 19, 2023.

The conference was hosted by the National Center for Schooling Development Programme, and organized by the Education Department of Jilin Province and JLU. It aimed to establish global partnerships in industry-education-research-application collaboration and promote high-level talent cultivation and quality development.

The event attracted over 300 academicians, university presidents, experts, and scholars from 13 countries. Key guests, including JIANG Zhiying, Chairman of the University Council, JLU, and ZHANG Xi, JLU's President, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony.

JIANG presented cooperation mentor certificates to leaders from six enterprises, while ZHANG awarded foreign cooperation mentor certificates to four international experts.

A cooperation agreement between the Third Bethune Hospital of Jilin University and Tohoku Central Hospital in Japan was signed at the event. The Future Medical Engineering Collaboration Center of the Third Bethune Hospital of Jilin University was also founded.

The conference also featured discussions on integrated innovation, offering fresh perspectives on international industry-education-research collaboration.
