JIANG Zhiying, Chairman of the University Council, Jilin University (JLU), moderated a session and roundtable discussion at the World University Presidents Forum, which took place from July 30 to 31, 2023.

The session, called "University cooperation and exchanges under the vision of a community of shared future", featured keynote speeches by SHI Yigong, Vice President of the China Association of Higher Education (CAHE), and Jon Frampton, Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor (China) at the University of Birmingham.

Representatives from Sun Yat-sen University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the University of Liverpool, Arizona State University, Chulalongkorn University, and the University of Agriculture Faisalabad in Pakistan participated in the roundtable discussion, sharing insights on the distinctive features of their universities' development.

JIANG emphasized the crucial role universities play in building a shared future for mankind and promoting international collaboration. He hoped the forum would inject strong momentum into the global academic community.

Before the forum, JIANG and his delegation attended the 40th anniversary of the founding of the CAHE.
