Jilin University (JLU) participated in the World Digital Education Conference in Beijing on Feb 13, 2023.

The conference, themed "Digital Transformation and the Future of Education", attracted representatives from over 130 countries and regions.

JIANG Zhiying, Chairman of the University Council, JLU, and JLU President ZHANG Xi participated in the conference online. 

The conference, held in a hybrid format, included an opening ceremony, main forum, parallel forums, supplementary events, and signing ceremonies. Key topics covered included digital transformation, the development and application of digital learning resources, enhancing digital literacy for both teachers and students, and digital governance in education.

The conference also saw the release of China Smart Education Bluebook 2022, the smart education development index, and standards for smart education platforms, Global Partnership on Digital Education Development, alongside the establishment of the World Digital Education Alliance.
