Professor ZHENG Weitao’s team at JLU publishes a report in Nano Letters

2025-06-24

The team led by Professor ZHENG Weitao from the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Jilin University (JLU) has published a groundbreaking research paper titled Carbon-Dot-Assisted Room-Temperature Crystallization of Quasi-Two-Dimensional Perovskite Emitting Layers for Annealing-Free Light-Emitting Diodes in the international journal Nano Letters.

This work breaks with tradition and provides a more sustainable and energy-efficient pathway. It achieves the preparation of high-performance perovskite light-emitting diodes without the need for thermal annealing. This breaks the dependence of traditional devices on high-temperature treatment and provides a sustainable path for the development of low-energy, flexible displays, and large-area optoelectronic devices.

Recently, Professor ZHENG Weitao’s team has been actively promoting collaboration by working closely with research teams across related fields, achieving a series of important scientific research outcomes.

Fully leveraging the unique advantages of JLU as a comprehensive research university, the School of Materials Science and Engineering is committed to cultivating versatile research talent with broad interdisciplinary perspectives and innovative capabilities.
