The team of Professors JIANG Qing and YANG Chuncheng from the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Jilin University (JLU) recently published a landmark review paper.

The paper titled Bi: A rising star for low-temperature fast-charging sodium-ion batteries, was published online on June 20 in Materials Science and Engineering: R: Reports. 

The paper outlines a roadmap for bringing sodium-ion batteries from the laboratory into the real world, highlighting key challenges that require focused investigation and providing valuable insight into how to accelerate the large-scale application of sodium-ion batteries in harsh environments.

Doctoral student BAI Jie is the first author of the paper. Research Fellow ZHANG Hong, Professor YANG Chuncheng, and Professor JIANG Qing are the corresponding authors.
