Jilin University (JLU) and Zhejiang University co-hosted the International Symposium on Dynamic Polymer Networks in Changchun, capital of Northeast China’s Jilin province, from Sept 25 to 26, 2024.

The opening ceremony was presided over by SUN Junqi, Director of the State Key Laboratory of Supramolecular Structure and Materials at JLU. JLU President ZHANG Xi delivered a speech at the ceremony.

ZHANG said that research on dynamic polymers is important to the development of the next generation of high-performance and multifunctional materials. He hoped that experts and scholars can share the latest research progress and their thoughts on its future development and jointly promote cooperation and development in the field.

Providing a unique platform for collaboration, inspiration, and innovation in the field of dynamic polymers, the symposium invited 20 renowned scientists and 10 emerging young scientists from around the world to share their latest insights in the field. It attracted over 260 teachers and students from 56 universities in 10 countries.
