Jilin University (JLU) distinguished itself with outstanding achievements at the 2024 National College Film and Television Works Exchange and Exhibition.

The results were unveiled at the opening ceremony of the China Education Television Association’s Higher Education Television Professional Committee Annual General Meeting in Chengdu, capital of Southwest China’s Sichuan Province, from July 6 to 8, 2024.

JLU secured eight first prizes, five second prizes, and two third prizes from the 17 works it submitted.

The 2024 exchange and exhibition officially began in May, with enthusiastic participation from member universities nationwide.

A total of 135 universities submitted 1,226 film and television works, including 354 short videos, 213 news pieces, 163 special reports, 133 documentaries, 130 school promotional videos, 103 variety shows, and 91 educational programs. Additionally, 39 hosts from 23 universities competed for the hosting awards.
