A team of experts from the Association of MBAs and the Business Graduates Association (AMBA & BGA) visited the School of Business and Management and the MBA Education Center at Jilin University (JLU) from May 23 to 24, 2024 for gold accreditation.

During the visit, JLU’s President ZHANG Xi met with the AMBA & BGA team which was led by Martyn Jones. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on sustainable development, talent cultivation, and strategic planning for academic resources.

President ZHANG offered an overview of the university’s history, distinctive educational approach, and the development of the School of Business and Management. He emphasized the university’s commitment to collaborating with top international universities and expressed hope that the experts would offer valuable insights to guide the growth of JLU.

Martyn Jones spoke highly of JLU’s MBA program and engaged in a detailed discussion on the strategic interdisciplinary development of the School of Business and Management, particularly in the integration of new engineering and business studies.

AMBA & BGA is a leading global authority in management education accreditation, specializing in accrediting MBA, DBA, and MBM programs. Since April 2022, JLU’s School of Business and Management has been officially pursuing related international accreditation.

The School of Business and Management of JLU has already passed AMBA & BGA bronze accreditation and is now well on its way to silver and gold status.
