The College of Biological and Agricultural Engineering at Jilin University hosted the 2023 International Conference on the Cooperation and Integration of Industry, Education, Research and Application (Changchun) - Bionic Engineering and Intelligent Agriculture Frontier Sub-Forum, as well as the 2023 Agricultural Safety and Sustainable Development Forum from Dec 13 to 15, 2023.

Over 300 experts and scholars from China, the Republic of Korea, and Germany participated in the event, which was conducted both online and offline.

Distinguished speakers, including professors from universities such as Kangwon National University, the University of Gottingen, South China Agricultural University, and Jilin University, delivered insightful keynote speeches on agricultural safety and sustainable development.

The event also featured the Agricultural and Forestry Economics and Management Discipline Development Forum, which highlighted in-depth discussions on the discipline's current status, talent cultivation systems, curriculum and teaching reforms, and overall academic training systems.

This segment served as an excellent platform for the exchange of experiences among Chinese and international elites and young scholars. It discussed the latest academic trends in international agricultural safety and sustainable development and explored the opportunities and challenges of building a strong agricultural nation, ensuring food security, and achieving sustainable agricultural development in the new era.
