Doctoral students from the College of Electronic Science and Engineering at Jilin University (JLU) participated in a four-day international academic exchange at the National University of Singapore (NUS) from Nov 26 to 29, 2023.

The delegation was led by WEN Xuemei, director of the Graduate Affairs Office of the College of Electronic Science and Engineering, along with Professor SHEN Liang, vice-dean of the college, and Professor DONG Biao, head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering.

The delegation engaged in academic discussions with Professor LIU Xiaogang’s research group at NUS, where each doctoral student delivered their research findings in English.

Following the presentations, the delegation visited the laboratories of Professor LIU and Professor LI Jun, and later held a seminar with Professor LI’s research team, engaging in in-depth exchanges on research projects and educational philosophies.

This international academic exchange advanced collaborative research efforts between JLU and NUS and broadened the global academic perspectives of participating students, laying a strong foundation for further cooperation between the two universities in related academic fields.
