Jilin University (JLU) recently hosted a young scholars exchange conference in Frankfurt, Germany.

JLU President ZHANG Xi, JLU International Center of Future Science Director YU Jihong, and Chinese Consul General in Frankfurt HUANG Yiyang attended the conference and delivered speeches.

ZHANG shared his overseas study experiences and encouraged young scholars to return to China to advance JLU’s education and scientific research.

HUANG emphasized that the Chinese Consulate General in Frankfurt will continue to build exchange platforms for overseas students and talents. He hoped that more young scholars would collaborate with JLU through this exchange.

YU introduced the latest talent support policies from the National Natural Science Foundation and discussed research directions and incentive mechanisms with participating scholars.

The conference, which attracted nearly 50 young scholars, was chaired by SUN Junqi, dean of the Graduate School at JLU.

Representatives from the College of Chemistry, the College of Physics, the School of Artificial Intelligence, and the International Center of Future Science presented the university’s talent policies and disciplinary development.
