The founding ceremony of the Alliance for Economics and Management Education (AEME) was held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Aug 29, 2023.

The AEME is an academic, non-governmental, and non-profit organization initiated by the Central University of Finance and Economics. Its members are voluntary and include 121 universities and enterprises in China and 24 foreign universities. Jilin University (JLU) is among the alliance's founding members.

The first plenary meeting of the alliance was held at the permanent venue of the China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week. Chen Jie, vice-minister of the Ministry of Education, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

JLU will collaborate in depth with other members to create a shared network for financial education resources, promoting a high level of openness and international development in financial education.

GUO Yingtong, vice dean of the School of Business and Management at JLU, was invited to attend the alliance's founding ceremony and its first plenary meeting.
