HAN Xiping, Vice Chairman of the University Council, Jilin University (JLU), met with Koh Yu-hwan, former president of the Korea Institute for National Unification (KINU), on Sept 15, 2023.

Koh and his delegation attended the Forum on Peace and Development in Northeast Asia 2023.

HAN expressed gratitude to Koh for attending the forum and hoped that Koh would engage in in-depth discussions with experts and scholars during the forum, deepening mutual trust and jointly promoting peace, stability, and prosperous development in the Northeast Asia region.

Koh thanked JLU for its invitation and expressed a desire to engage in meaningful exchanges with other participants, provide better policy consultations and recommendations to the government, and contribute to the continued friendly development of China-Republic of Korea relations.

Officials from JLU's College of Northeast Asian Studies and Office of Global Engagement also attended the meeting.
