ZHANG Guoxing, Vice President of Jilin University (JLU), met with Tetsuo Mizukami, Vice President of Rikkyo Second Stage College at Rikkyo University in Japan, on Aug 11, 2023.

ZHANG welcomed Tetsuo Mizukami and briefly introduced JLU's basic situation. He expressed hope for continued cooperation between JLU and Rikkyo University in humanities and social sciences, faculty exchange, scientific research, and joint student training.

Professor BING Zheng, president of the East Asian Sociological Association and chief expert at JLU's Institute for Northeast China and Northeast Asian Studies, also welcomed Tetsuo Mizukami's participation in the 3rd Congress of East Asian Sociological Association. He expressed a desire to strengthen academic research and exchange in sociology with Tetsuo Mizukami and his colleagues.

Tetsuo Mizukami thanked JLU for its warm reception. He then provided an overview of Rikkyo University and its sociology department and expressed hopes for deepening practical cooperation in research collaboration and student exchange.
