Professor Serge Cosnier, an academician of the European Academy of Sciences, delivered a lecture as part of the Dingxin Lecture Series at Jilin University (JLU) on Aug 19, 2023.

In his lecture titled "Biosensors and biofuel cells based on carbon nanotubes and glyconanoparticles," Professor Cosnier offered an in-depth exploration of nanostructured biomaterials. He focused on the design concepts for creating hollow bioelectrode systems and shared insights into his latest research advancements.

JLU President ZHANG Xi attended the lecture and presented Professor Cosnier with a commemorative plaque for the Dingxin Lecture Series. The lecture was moderated by Professor LYU Zhongyuan, dean of the College of Chemistry.

The event was organized by the Jilin University Association for Science and Technology, the Office of Global Engagement, and the College of Chemistry. Representatives from JLU's College of Chemistry, the State Key Laboratory of Supramolecular Structure and Materials, and Northeast Normal University attended the lecture.
