An international symposium titled "China-ROK Economic Cooperation under the Background of Great Adjustment of International Order" was held at Jilin University (JLU) on Aug 21, 2023.

The seminar was jointly organized by the Northeast Asian Research Center and the Northeast Asian Studies College at JLU, along with the Korea International Economic Association (KIEA). More than 20 experts and scholars participated.

Professor WU Hao, dean of the Northeast Asian Studies College at JLU, and Professor Kang Sung Jin, president of the KIEA and professor at Korea University, both delivered opening remarks.

WU welcomed and thanked the ROK scholars for their participation, expressing hope that the seminar would further strengthen collaboration between scholars from both countries. Kang expressed a desire to enhance exchanges and cooperation between the KIEA, Korea University, and JLU, particularly among young scholars.

Through four different presentations, scholars from China and the ROK engaged in in-depth discussions on China-ROK cooperation amid China's industrial transformation, digital trade, the green transition of traditional industries, and the development of emerging industries.
